On March 15-19, at the invitation of the University of Wollongong, Australia,Deputy Director of the College Party Committee Cui Guangcheng rate delegation to the university for a friendly visit, the Institute of Scientific Research Director Yu Haitao, vice president of the School of Mental Health Li Ping accompanied to visit.
Prof. Bill Dammax, Chief Executive Officer of International Cooperation and Overseas School of Wollongong University, held a welcoming ceremony on behalf of the university and introduced the basic situation of Wollongong University. He introduced the basic situation of the university and the achievements of the university in recent years in personnel training, scientific research and social service.
In accordance with the schedule, the university delegation met with Prof. Nicholas Zwal, Dean of School of Medicine, School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Wollongong University, Professor Diana F Jolie, Vice President of School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Professor of the Department of Medicine and Health, Professor Daniels Rupert, etc., on the introduction of Australian courses, professional cooperation in psychiatry to reach a consensus. During the talks on scientific research cooperation, the delegation met with Professor Huang Xufeng, director of the Institute of Health and Medicine of the University of Illawa, Institute of Health Sciences, Professor Leonard Arnold of the Institute of Health and Medicine, Professor David J. Edmund, Director of the Executive Director of the Black Culture Community of the Lavala Shore, Ms. Jessica, Senior Coordinator, International Education Alliance (International Strategy). And the school to jointly declare the National Natural Science Fund project, exchange of personnel to study, jointly signed papers, translators, patents and reached a series of consensus. The two sides agreed that in June 2017, Wollongong University will visit the school, signed a cooperation agreement, and held the Sino-Australian Institute of Mental and Neurological Diseases, the opening ceremony.
The university has established friendly relations with Wollongong University in 2015, and has signed a memorandum of cooperation. Since then, the university has selected 14 students to visit the school for short-term exchange activities. The school has also sent representatives to visit the hospital. The delegation's visit to the program is compact, pragmatic and in-depth, and achieved fruitful results, marking the cooperation between the two universities to a new level.
